Edit: 5th Dec ‘08: I have dropped in a line to McAfee’s Webimmune service and submitted the symptoms and the manifestations of the virus. Expecting a reply soon.
A request: Please read this post and Part 1 carefully. I have removed this virus from my PC and i have written the experience here. In case this doesn’t work , i will try my best to help you. Do drop me a line though whether it worked or not. See the edit in the end.
A few days ago i wrote about how i got a work around solution forthe virus affecting system file rundll32.exe without any antivirus at hand: How To Remove Virus Affecting rundll32.exe: Part 1 and felt that there was the need for a permanent solution.
So here is the software for removing the virus
Download Spyware Terminator 2.2.2.438 from cnet
OR
Download Spyware Terminator from its site
SOME MORE SYMPTOMS;
I found that if your PC is infected with this virus you may not be able to install certain programs and get a FEAD error and/or a text document is created by the name _Nosso_error.log with the error details.
Like while my PC was infected i was unable to install McAfee and Acrobat Reader.
While installing Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional, i got the following error message in the log file which i talked about above.
The system cannot find the file specified.
File: F:\Krutika_software\Adobe Acrobat Pro Ver 8\.exe
Info ID: 2.1073.03.2.10054
Please send the Info ID to http://www.adobe.com/misc/bugreport.html
So if you get such errors without any reason, then suspect this virus.
Please report dead links in comments and also if the posts were helpful to you
WHAT TO DO IF THIS DOESN’T WORK?
EDIT: One of the readers has responded that the solution doesnt work. It worked in my case though.
Still lets see if this helps. You can try downloading THREATFIRE. The odds of this working to remove your virus are 8 to 10.
And yes do drop me a comment on whether this works or not.
HELP ME HELP OTHERS.

This virus has completely disabled my PC I can not open IE or Mozilla! Everything is uber-slow and causes system to freeze over and over I can’t even look around to see what’s wrong – I will try your method wish me luck!
To Sally: my computer is also being stoped when trying to gain access to IE. I am currently working on removing the virus on my effected computer but I have found a back door if you only have one computer to work from.
Start>My Computer
go up to the address bar and start typing in the website you wish to visit. Hit enter and your computer will open your default browser and will go to the site you typed in. Once you are in you can visit any site by useing the browsers search bar. You may not be able to gain access to your browser from every site so try differnt sites if at first it doesnt work.
the programs didnt work for me, they didnt find anything even though i know the virus is on my pc
Clinton, I believe there may be something on my PC too…
but ive looked through all the processed on my PC and also ran HijackThis, turned up clean. I might have the same problem as clinton, because my MSN was hacked a week ago I think it also may be a keylogger. Anyone got any ideas?
i fixed mine by downloading malware bytes and running a full scan and it came up with 23 infected files and destroyed them, which my anti virus didnt do
I should notify you about it.
